However, if you allow folks to submit events on your site, you are sent an email message in which you must approve the event before it is shown on your website. Event Minder is a small reminder program that will help you remember birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Its configurable to notify you any number of days in advance of an event, and the frequency of notifications is also configurable.

The event info is stored in a csv (comma separated values) text file, so you can import it easily into Excel or other programs. The notifier runs in the background continuously (at a low priority so it doesnt interfere with other tasks) and alerts you of upcoming events according to the notficiation options you have set up.

Changes from previous version

· Fixed problem with false event dupes.
· Event description was not being checked when looking to see if a dupe was being entered, so one could not enter same name date with different description.
