Network Time Client 1.2 is a very flexible and effective tool which connects to a time server through the Internet, gets the current time, and adjusts the clock of your PC.
This software uses the DAYTIME protocol and is RFC-867 compliant. Usually, time servers are synchronized using an atomic clock. However, the DAYTIME protocol doesn't support the transfer of the exact time (down to 1 millisecond) but your system time should be at least within 500ms (half a second) of the 'real' atomic time.
From now on, e-mails, Office documents, log entries will have the exact time and not just an 'approximative' value.

It is free (for non-commercial purposes)
It works with a technology, which reads audio CDs almost perfectly. If there are any errors that can???t be corrected, it will tell you on which time position the (possible) distortion occurred, so you could easily control it with e.g. the media player
With other audio grabbers you usually need to listen to every grabbed wave because they only do jitter correction. Scratched CDs read on CD-ROM drives often produce distortions. But listening to every extracted audio track is a waste of time. Exact Audio Copy conquer these problems by making use of several technologies like multi-reading with verify and AccurateRip.
EAC is used to convert the tracks on standard audio CDs to audio files, such as MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WavPack and FLAC. It supports AccurateRip[3] and can automatically create Cue Sheets, with all gaps, track attributes, ISRC and CD-Text included.
Exact Audio Copy is freeware, free for non-commercial use and highly popular among the audiophiles for the high accuracy of the ripping data and for the ability of ripping severely damaged audio Compact Discs.<<less
