The Legendary Tales Editor is a visual editor for the creation of adventures. The use of scripting adds even greater flexibility allowing the author to dynamically manipulate the game and its course. The author can load maps and images when certain events happen, update the journal with new quests and entries, award quest experience points and program the dialog with the various NPCs. The editor also gives the opportunity to encrypt the files to avoid cheating attempts by the users.

Tales of Zuidat is a traditional action RPG set in a fantasy world. You create two characters and venture into the wilderness as you try to find the evil summoner, Zuidat, while fighting progressively tougher monsters and searching for better items.
The main ingame screen is controlled from a top-down view. Your party moves with a tile-based movement, searching for a way to the next screen or a treasure chest.
Combat plays out in its own screen. It is turn based and viewed from first person. You choose from a variety of actions and the character executes them.
The game includes 15 screens, 16 different enemies, over 50 different items (including weapons, shields, armor, helms, amulets and bottles) and 15 different magical spells. Everything has its own unique, hand-drawn graphics.
