Search a string for words that match exactly or similar to a given search term Usin Fuzzy Search Engine you will be able to search a string for words that match exactly or similar to a given search term. The search is conducted using a ?fuzzy index? generated by a non-deterministic finite state search engine. The search term can be either a single word or a phrase. It is not a wild card search, not a regular expression search, and not a soundex search.
The fuzzy index has the following advantages over other search methods:
It gives you a relative ranking of the resulting matches. If no match is found, you can still review the index of the closet match, which gives you excellent feedback for your search strategy. You can adjust the result sets easily by moving up or down the fuzzy index.
