Foldey fixes the problem with folders that opens automatically when you start you computer. Foldey is a small application that will fix the problem with folders that opens automatically when you start you computer. It checks for strings without " " in the following places in your registry; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SoftwareMicrosoftwindowscurrentversionrun and HKEY_CURRENT_USER SoftwareMicrosoftwindowscurrentversionrun If any path is found without the enclosing " ", the software changes that line. This can be seen if you run it once, receive an error, and rerun it at once. Foldey is designed to do one thing. It gives you a simple way of fixing that annoying folder, that opens automatically when you start (boot) your computer. This folder is normally c:program or c:program files but can also be located on other disks then c:. The folder opens due to an entry in a special place in your registry file, that tells your operating system to start programs on boot. Some of the locations (paths) for these programs can sometimes be interpreted incorrectly as a path to just the folder they are located in (and not to the executable program file). The result is, that windows opens the folder. Tags: |
