Flowplan is a graphical, flowscheme-based, multi-period simulation and scheduling tool, particularly useful for planning bulk material processing operations, such as in the oil and chemical industries.
You construct a model of your process graphically, using the principal elements offered - tanks act as material stores, processors combine, split or alter materials, and streams transport material between tanks and processors.
You can assign attributes or qualities to material, which can be altered by blending or processing, and view the results in customisable spreadsheets, graphs or reports.
Flowplan uses Microsofts ActiveX technology to expose objects to a scripting language, VBScript, allowing you to control the mathematics of the model.
