The Express Tools for Excel Add-In was designed to be a set of productivity tools for Excel.
Main features:

Each data cell in the look up column of one file is compared with all values in the look up column of the second file. There is no need to sort the values.
- Auto Backup. Each time you save the current Excel file a copy of it is sent to the recycling bin. If you need to recover a previous version of an Excel file you can restore it from the recycling bin. This works even if the file is on a network drive. The copy of a file originated from a network drive will have the drive letter and folder name added to its name for easy identification.

The converter is based on XSL transformations between two XML formats, along with some pre- and post-processing to manage the packaging (zip / unzip), schema incompatibility processings and the integration into Microsoft Word.
We chose to use an Open Source development model that will allow developers from all around the globe to participate and contribute to this project.
