Note that EXIF field sorting forces FastPictureViewer to open every file as it scans the folder, as such the scanning is much slower and the program is less responsive during that time. Most cameras set the file's last modification date to the exact same time as the 'date taken', in most cases it is better to stick with the much faster file date sorting.
