MondoMail provides FileMaker designers with a single set of External functions to retrieve email from POP3 and IMAP accounts. Regardless of which type of server you need to connect to, all the functions are exactly the same. This makes it very easy if you start out retrieving mail from a POP3 account, then later need to change to using IMAP. Every piece of information about incoming emails can be retrieved: any header, whether there are attachments, size of the attachments, if its a multi-part MIME message, you can retrieve each part of the message body separately. And of course you can add or modify any of the headers for outgoing emails.
