TweakFS Scenery Viewer was designed to allow Flight Simulator scenery designers of both freeware and commercial products to showcase their creations as a 360 scrolling panoramic animation. Think of it as a screenshot with a difference.
TweakFS Scenery Viewer itself is small thet will help keep the bandwidth usage down.
TweakFS Scenery Viewer ships with 3 example bitmaps:
- innsbruck_austria_256.bmp (Default scenery with high rez mesh)
- sydney_australia_256.bmp (Default scenery)
- canberra_australia_256.bmp (Patrick Fogartys Photo-real Canberra Scenery)
All were created from a dozen or so screenshots which were combined into a 360 panoramic view using Ulead Cool 360 (http://www.ulead.com) and the same can be easily done with any similar product. All up it took no more than 10 min to prepare a relatively seamless panoramic view.

As a tip, to take the screenshots go to full-screen in FS, slew into position and use the 3 (PG DN) key on your numeric keypad to swivel around in a clockwise rotation and the No. 5 key to stop, if using MultiGrab press the PRT SCR key for each screenshot. Generally speaking it is good to have an overlap of around 15% along the sides of the screenshots to allow smooth blending of the screens in whatever 360 application you use.
