- Stratini Padded undergoes tests on Windows XP and Windows 2000 running both FF 3.0.10 and FF 3.5pre in a variety of color Schemes, in a wide variety of screen resolutions. It has also been tested with many popular Extensions. RTL compatibility and Icons and Text mode has not been finished yet.
- Compatibility:
- It has not been tested by me personally on Linux or Mac platforms. If you have Linux or Mac related issues, use my contact form through my website for detailed responses, but be aware I currently have no way of directly testing changes. I am happy to report that Mac and Linux screen shots of the latest versions are *almost* perfect. Mac folks, please try to ignore the off-center back/forward dropmarker, I am really having a tough time finding a way to fix that!
- Color Schemes:
- If you are using an OS color scheme with black as the dominant window color, then the dark outlines seen in the preview will disappear. Other than that, Stratini Padded should be fully compatible with the gamut of OS color schemes, from white down to very dark grey and all the colors in between. Some Linux users have found issues with text colors using dark colors schemes and Stratini Padded + other addons, and unfortunately it is not something that is easy for me to debug!
- Future Versions:
- The next public version of Stratini Padded will have several changes. Buttons, scrollbars and other elements have been given a hover effect. The new Add-ons PageInfo and Options menus have been rerendered to have brighter colors than the 0.2.6 version. The next public version will also be updated to be fully compatible with all of the features of the Firefox 3.5 Release Candidate. Make the progress meter compatible with the Fission add-on.
