Guitar Tuner project is a simple Gtk+ guitar tuner.

Guitar Toolbar is packed with 444 scale patterns and 84 mode patterns in all 12 keys.
In the chord section there are 23 of the most common chords in all keys featuring different shapes and inversions.
The tools menu features an easy to use online guitar tuner, a fretboard diagram with the notes of the guitar mapped out, diagrams of the intervals (pitch) between different notes.

Ultimate Guitar is an amaroK script which search guitar tabs in ultimate-guitar.com. It shows the results within a browser (default: Konqueror).

SuperRiff Guitar description
Add to the instruments performance such as an ADSR envelope, reverb unit There many types of free guitar and bass VST plug-ins available on the net and superriff is not intended to compete with any of them but rather to give musicians another free option to consider. As mentioned already the superriff project will be an ongoing one and hopefuly lead to improvements and updates. The idea with SuperRiff Guitar was to create a soundset of samples that contain the three most basic ways of getting sound from a guitar (at least in the rock world) and to combine them in such a way that all three could be used to create a simple but reasonable rhythm/lead guitar performance.

Both guitar and bass plug-ins have been created with rock type productions in mind but of course can be used in any genre. SuperRiff Guitar was designed to be a Guitar VST plugin.

The interface of SuperRiff Guitar allows access to some simple functions to add to the instruments performance such as an ADSR envelope, a reverb unit and a "listen mode" which is described in full detail in the help file
