2. Project file can store as many languages as you wish. You don't need to have separate projects for each language and waste time synchronizing them. Project structure and topic IDs remain the same, you only need to enter content and titles in different languages. 3. Template engine allows you to customize documentation look and feel. HTML and RTF/PDF templates are fully adjustable. If you don't know HTML or CSS you can use Template Builder that helps you visually design HTML template.
4. Helpinator produces good-looking PDF files with front page, table of contents, header, footer, page numbers and outline. Image Library can save you a lot of time. First of all all images are at one place, so you dont need to browse through your project to find them. Second you can reference one image from several topics. When image changes you only need to update it in the library.
5. Shape editor allows you to annotate images and screenshots. Text snippets save your time just like library images. If same portion of text appears in the same form in different topics create text snippet from it. You will save time as you don,t need to paste it into each topic and you don't need to update every topic if this text changes. Just edit snippet.

This Beta 1 release of the Article Authoring Add-in for Microsoft Word 2007 will provide authors of scientific articles with the ability to read and write files from Word 2007 into the XML format used by the National Library of Medicine for archiving articles in the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature, PubMed Central.
This Beta 1 release is targeted at the staff of scientific and technical journals, Information Repositories, and early adopters within the scholarly authoring community, as well as developers of publishing solutions and workflows.
In addition, the add-in enables or simplifies a number of activities that are part of the authoring and scholarly publishing process, such as:
- gathering information about the author and article at the time of article authoring
- enabling journals to provide authors with templates containing the structure for articles, and provide information for self classification of the articles by the authors
- enabling access to the author and article metadata contained in the Word file, through the use of the NLM tagset and Open XML document structure
- enabling the editorial staff to have access to the article and journal metadata directly within Word
