TheKBase Desktop by Confusionists 3 is such an useful application to manage multiple-hierarchical information. Each piece of information in a TheKBase file is a "snippet." Each snippet has a title, text, an icon, and a color. Also, snippets can have child snippets (like file folders on your computer).
TheKBase is "multiple-hierarchical" in that each snippet can have not just one parent snippet, but several. Multiple-hierarchical data gives you infinite flexibility and ease in your data organization. TheKBase can hold all of your data and uses open standards like XML.
