HijackThis, a general homepage hijackers detector and remover.
Initially based on the article Hijacked!, but expanded with almost a dozen other checks against hijacker tricks. It is continually updated to detect and remove new hijacks.
HijackThis does not target specific programs/URLs, just the methods used by hijackers to force you onto their sites.
As a result, false positives are imminent and unless you are sure what youre doing, you should always consult with knowledgable folks (e.g. the forums) before deleting anything.
Enhancements:
- Added Winlogon Notify keys to O20 listing
- Fixed crashing bug on certain Win2000 and WinXP systems at O23 listing
- Fixed lots and lots of unexpected error bugs
- Fixed lots of inproper functioning bugs (i.e. stuff that didnt work)
- Added Delete NT Service function in Misc Tools section
- Added ProtocolDefaults to O15 listing
- Fixed MD5 hashing not working
- Fixed ISTSVC autorun entries with garbage data not being fixed
- Fixed HijackThis uninstall entry not being updated/created on new versions
- Added Uninstall Manager in Misc Tools to manage Add/Remove Software list
- Added option to scan the system at startup, then show results or quit if nothing found

The main goal is to group all related log files into one tool so that you dont have search and dig for them. This tool enables you to attach any log files, such as Tomcat logs, WAS logs, IIS logs, etc.
If this is the first time you are use Trace Log, you need to configure and attach any necessary log files. Once attached, a configuration file will be stored locally in your user profile of that computer. The next time you use this tool again, it will load the configuration automatically and you can begin monitoring the log contents immediately.
Trace Log Features
1. The Main Log merges and displays all log contents into one viewer. The log contents from each file are color coded to distinguish them from other log contents of other log files.
2. Each log file has its own dedicated viewer.
3. Ability to create log groups to logically group log files together. For example, a log group may represent a server environment.
4. Configurable purge strategy to truncate the log size in the viewers when it hits certain threshold.
5. Quick application launch through system tray.

7. Automatic software update check every time the application is launched.
8. Adjust log font size.
9. Lock/unlock scrolling viewer.
