Several new features have been integrated in this player, such as :
- An option to remove Tearing
- Translation in several languages (currently Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian)
- Additional video decoders and in particular H.264 and VC-1 with DXVA support (see specific section for details)
- Better support for Windows Vista, including a release for 64 bits platform
- Support for EVR renderer
- Bugs and vulnerability fixes

MPC Homecinema is a powerful and reliable Media Player Classic mod designed for homecinema usage.
Main features:
- Anti tearing option
- Jitter tests - In VMR9 renderless and EVR custom pres. mode its possible to display a jitter curve using "Ctrl+J" shortcut. This curve show difference between the moment one frame was expected to be displayed, and the moment it was really displayed.
- Subtiles synchronisation
- Shuttle PN31 remote control support
- OSD (On Screen Display) - When video output is VMR9 or EVR, MPC can displays some informations on screen (remaining time, volume, audio track, subtitle, ?).

- Modify : OSD improved for EVR custom

- Fixed : use same registry than orginal Gabest Media Player Classic
- Fixed : freeze when playing audio only file with EVR Custom

- Fixed : The background ("Outline" color) overlap each other vertically if more than one text row for subtitles
