Iconix eMail ID 3.87.3.9 is such a marvellous program which lets you see what's real before you even open the message. Iconix eMail ID works with your current email service such as AOL mail, AIM mail, Yahoo mail, Windows Live Hotmail, Gmail, Earthlink, Outlook Express (all on IE or FireFox).
Iconix eMail ID double checks the source of a message to make sure it's not a spoof. It then uses a simple visual indicator in your inbox--a gold lock with a checkmark to show that a message is real. E-mail from over 300 major senders is currently identified--companies such as eBay, PayPal, Citibank, Amazon.com, Expedia, MySpace, and the New York Times represent the top online sites for retail, travel, auctions, banking, e-cards, news/entertainment, and dating.

- Authentication: When an email arrives, Iconix eMail ID uses industry standard technologies to verify the authenticity of the message. They use technologies like DKIM, Domain Keys and Sender ID which are backed by companies such as Cisco, Microsoft and Yahoo!
- Certification: The email sender is checked against a list of registered senders with ICONIX, Inc.
- Display: Once an email has passed Authentication and Identification steps, a Truemark icon is displayed in your inbox to help you instantly recognize messages and know that they're legitimate.
