Quickly generate PAD files with the PAD-ID server-side plugin PAD-ID is a free set of scripts that allows you to generate custom PAD files for each download site you submit to.
PAD (Portable Application Description) is a new standard of passing program information that make easier the registration of programs for the authors, but it also should enable the archive administrators to update the programs automatically.

The multiple rounds of rapidly spreading IIS worms dramatized a fact that had been troubling security professionals for quite some time: Compared to the other popular web server solutions, Microsofts offerings generate a continuous stream of serious security problems.
Moreover, unlike embarrassing but comparatively benign problems such as web site defacement, Microsofts security vulnerabilities usually place the web sites visitor data at risk of theft and malicious exploitation.
During the last quarter of 2001 we saw an increase in eMail asking if there was any way to tell what server software any given web site was using.
Presumably, these users were either curious, or they intended to use that information, if it were available, to help choose which sites they would prefer not to entrust with their confidential and personal data.

Although the make, model, and version of most web sites server software has always been available to client programs, it has never before been important or particularly interesting to most web site users.
Recently, for at least some users, this appears to have changed. Since I have also sometimes wondered about the security and server software used by "off the beaten path" web sites, I decided to whip up "ID Serve", a simple, free, small (26 kbytes), and fast, general purpose Internet server identification utility.

HDD ID Utility will show your HDD serial number. It is a programmers tool.
FEATURES:
- use a very small DLL to show the IDs of the HDD partitions and load them in the registry
- you can directly import function from DLL or you can read the key that was stored in registry by the program for you
- it is really small (the DLL size is only 15K)
- it is freeware
- it doesnt need to be installed/uninstalled

Alien ID Sorter is a free and useful id sorter utility.
You can sort either type of id/pw list.
EX: id and pw on the same line with some sort
of divider between them (-,: etc..)

as this program and titled ids.txt

WD-ID-CHECKER is a free id checker that will remove duplicate names.
