Open Image In New Tab adds right-click context menu item for opening images in new tabs.
As several people have said in comments, it is possible to open images in new tabs or windows by pretending the menu item for "View Image" is a link in a page - middle-click or ctrl-click for a new tab, shift-click for a new window.
While for some people this may be ok, for others it is unintuitive - I, for one, did not know until the comments started coming in that the menu item could be treated like a link. That is why this extension exists - for those who find this behaviour unintuitive and prefer a separate menu item. Even though I now know of the behaviour, I still dont find it "normal" to middle-click a menu item; Im sure there are other people in the same position.

Image Fiddler is a software that allows you convert and edit images.
You can fix the view at any time by using the menu. You can also copy or save a view in addition to copying or saving the full size graphic. This allows you to evaluate reduced size copies for use as thumbnails for example . You can load/save Bitmaps, JPEGs, GIFs, PNGs and Metafiles.
Though designed primarily to view large graphics, you can convert, enlarge or reduce, copy either the full image or the view, save either the full image or the view, paste and generally fiddle around with an image! All options are available through a right click popup menu. Left clicking the image will alternate between stretched and none stretched. Holding the CTRL button down while moving the mouse, will temporarily stop mouse scrolling.
