A small tool to visualise different graphic processes. It was written as a final year project in Visual C++. It loads in pictures and allows the user to apply different filters by choosing the coefficients as well as the matrix size.

BIMP is a small and simple batch processor for image files, that allows you to perform various functions on multiple images.
It can be used to create thumbnail images from your pictures, add a prefix/postfix, replace spaces in the file name with underscores, flip or rotate images and also apply anti-aliasing and emboss effects.

Edge Detection: This filter will sharpen the edges of an image. Canny Edge Detector: Find edges in an image using the Canny algorithm.
Emboss: This filter detects linear changes in adjacent pixels which creates a beveled effect. Median Cut: Median filter is good at removing salt and pepper or other extreme-valued noise from an image while preserving image details.
Morphological Filters: Dilation Grayscale dilation is used to smooth small dark regions. It is defined as the maximum of the sum of a local region of an image and a grayscale mask. Erosion ....... etc
