An apllication that upload images ImageShack Hotspot is an apllication that uploads images.
It is built with the look and feel of FlashGets floating button, so you can move it around the screen and everytime you move it, it will remember current position. It is also semi-transparent so you can see whats below it.
If after all this it is still annoying, you can place it in system tray if you choose option "To/from tray" after you right click the frog. Choosing same option from system tray icon menu will remove it from tray and show it on the desktop.
The process of uploading images very simple: Drag your image file (all ImageShack formats are supported) onto frog (that is Hotspot itself) and when you drop image file there upload process will begin.
When finished successfully you will get three links of the image file:
- direct image url
- html code for websites or MySpace
- bb code for forums

Shup is a small program that lives in your system tray, waiting for you to activate it via customizable hotkeys.
Once activated, Shup will capture your desktop or the currently active window and opens the builtin image editor that allows you to paint, crop, etc; you can also rename the file and add upload tags.
After you are done editing the image, it is uploaded to any of the supported file hosts (Stashbox, Flickr, PhotoBucket, WaffleImages, ImageShack) and the new URL is placed into your clipboard for easy access.
Main features:
- Global hotkeys allow you to initiate the capture of either the active window or your entire desktop. Each hotkey can be
customized to your liking and has a variety of options to tweak, such as toggling the image editor and/or uploading of screenshots.
- The Shup image editor is invoked (if enabled) by the global hotkeys, and provides two basic tools: a paintbrush, with which you can paint in any color you wish to choose from the color palette dialog, and a rectangular marquee tool, which is rather insignifcant by itself but becomes quite useful when combined with flood fill and image cropping functionality. Basically, it requires you to embed BlogLock into your blog template, and using it to generate scrambled text, which is sensative content that is restricted to people whom you give the password to.
Your viewer must copy and paste the encrypted text into BlogLock, which is why its a good idea to embed BlogLock onto your blogs sidebar. Entering a correct password will allow your viewer to unscramble the text to read the actual content.
Note that it is possible to have more than one password, since different password will encrypt the text differently. Also, you can have an entry with only a selected paragraph encrypted, which eliminates the problem of having to hide the whole entry of blog just because of a small part is you deem is sensative.
