Free in java software for windows

A network computer game, based on the widely known Scrabble game, written in the Java programming language. The game can be played simultaneously by up to 4 players via a network.

In Java you can generate executable jar-files but most Windows users are only familiar with exe files. Moreover it is not possible to assign icons to a Java Archive.
Xenoage Java Exe Starter resolves all of these by compiling an executable file, with an icon, that will start the jar when it will be launched.
You can also choose which JRE versions are allowed and you can pack the Jar into the Exe file so that you need only to deliver one single file.

Faltron Java Port Scanner is a open source and very simple port scanner written in Java.
It maximize the use of multi-threading by creating as much threads as possible, thus speeding up the scanning process.
I have not add any special features in the first release. Feel free to modify it, you can find the source codes here. If you are not a programmer, you can still download and use it using the link above.
To run, double click on the jar file, but you need to have the Java Runtime Environment installed. It is compiled with Java JDK 6.
