For those seeking an alternative packed with features and cross platform standardization FireFox is the answer. With a feel and ease of use like Apples Safari, Mozilla has put forth a product worth modeling and further development.
Also out this month is the new $100mm search engine built by Microsoft. With the maturity of the Internet comes the market need for search engines. With the defacto standard being Google, alternatives that are effective and functional are few in numbers, a trend sure to change in the near future. Microsofts new effort has thus far been kept simple (a trait not so common to Microsoft projects) and thus found to be very effective. They appear to have spent a lot time and effort getting to understand search functionality and user interaction. With a style much like Google, Microsoft has built a strong alternative to the giant Google with ingredients from both.

StartupReminder allow you to specify a frequency for these memos, because many things will be recurring on regular basis (e.g. every 14 days, every 2 months, or every year (birthdays!)).
If necessary, you can even get reminded a number of days in advance as well, so you have time to prepare for the event.
StartupReminder will display memos (on the given days) when your computer boots. The advantage of this method is that the program takes up no system resources whatsoever.
StartupReminder has a very intuitive interface and is optimized for quick use. You dont ever have to wonder what date friday in two weeks could be to schedule a memo... The program always displays the weekdays and allows you to pick dates in the near future from a list.

KillaFing 3 is a rewrite for the users of Internet Explorer and offers a completely new version of the killing engine with full wildcards, domain, and logging support. KF 3 now kills popups (and possibly adverts/banners in a future release) at a much lower level, so they dont even get a chance to load or appear.
This new version is tightly intergrated with the browser so it can stop popups even loading before they are killed, so no-more wasting bandwidth for those nasty windows you never wanted in the first place. Popups can be stopped in their tracks either by using domain/URL killing (KillaFings new main feature) or by popup window titles. Wildcards are also fully supported. I hope to bring image advert and enhanced filtering to KillaFing in the near future.
KillaFing also supports cookie killing. The base installation of KF comes with a large list of cookies that are "marked for death". Some websites leave (admittedly) limited tracking information inside of a cookie (a small text-based file placed on your harddrive). When KillaFing finds such a cookie - it is deleted.

Attributes and suggested values are stored in text files that may be edited by the user, allowing the program data to be modified to reflect ongoing changes in the Style Sheet specification. This allows the user to modify the program data according to his desires and assures that the program will (hopefully) not become obsolete in the near future.
By selecting an attribute and value from drop down lists and inserting it into the current Element, the user can eliminate the task of looking up CSS information and retyping it. Other tools include a Preview Button which launches a pre-selected HTML document in the default browser.
Along with the automated features, the user has full notepad like editing capabilities.
This is not a WYSIWYG editor. You will need to understand the basic format of a CSS document. The user is assumed to have an understanding of HTML and be able to edit the source code of a Web document.
