IPv4Trace 1.0
IPv4 fragment reassembly implementation. more>> Network monitoring software such as IDS typically examines only complete IP datagrams. Thus, attackers are able to fragment their IP traffic to pass through corporate networks undetected and bypass perimeter security devices. While most network monitoring software like IDS is now capable of handling fragmented traffic, intruders still often attempt this type of attack that can bypass IDS and take systems out of commission, or result in information being stolen or corrupted.
As part of its new charter, Foundstone Labs created IPv4Trace, a Win32 C++ programming library. Because IPv4Trace is a Win32 object-oriented port of the OpenBSD 2.8 kernel-land IPv4 fragment reassembly implementation, Win32 programmers can now use the tool to reassemble fragmented IPv4 traffic in programs that process captured network traffic, allowing them to proactively circumvent an attack that can take systems out of commission or result in information being stolen or corrupted.<<less

IP Subnet Calculator for IPv4 and IPv6 1.02
IP Subnet Calculator for IPv4 and IPv6 is created as a useful product which can compute IPv4 masks and host subnet ranges. more>>
IP Subnet Calculator for IPv4 and IPv6 1.02 is created as a useful product which can compute IPv4 masks and host subnet ranges. Input an IP address and choose one of the following: number of subnet bits, the maximum number of desired subnets, the number of host bits, or the maximum number of desired hosts. The calculator gives you a bit-by-bit address visualization and generates a complete table of subnets. CIDR allows multiple IP routes to be aggregated into a smaller set of routing table entries. Just as with subnetting, the calculator makes it easy visualize and generate CIDR information. The calculator is the first to support IPv6.
Although there are no subnets in IPv6 per se, there are several different types of IPv6 addresses and bits/fields within those types have different interpretations. Enter an IPv6 address and classify and dissect it for you. The calculator automatically discovers locally configured IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, allowing you to quickly classify and dissect them. The information presented in the calculator is a mere cut-and-paste away into your favorite application.

Polipo 1.0.4
Polipo is a fast caching and small web proxy (a web cache, a proxy server, an HTTP proxy). more>> Polipo is a fast caching and small web proxy (a web cache, a proxy server, an HTTP proxy).
Polipo is a fast caching and small web proxy (a web cache, a proxy server, an HTTP proxy).While Polipo was designed to be used by one person or a small group of people, there is nothing that prevents it from being used by a larger group.
What Polipo is useful for
By virtue of being a (mostly) compliant HTTP/1.1 proxy, Polipo has all the uses of traditional web proxies. It is typically used as a web proxy for a single computer or a small network, although theres no fundamental reason why it shouldnt be used by a larger one.
Because Polipo is small and easy to install (just copy the polipo binary), it has applications beyond those of traditional web proxies. I usually copy Polipo to whatever machine I happen to be using and do all my browsing through it (with no on-disk cache). Ive also occasionally used it to cross firewalls that were misconfigured or overly restrictive.
Because it has primitive filtering capabilities, Polipo can be used in place of ad-filtering, privacy-enhancing proxies such as Junkbuster, Privoxy or WWWOFFLE. As Polipo has much more refined HTTP support, it doesnt impose the speed tax usually associated with such proxies.
Since it can speak both IPv4 and IPv6, Polipo can be used as a bridge between the IPv4 and IPv6 Internets: to allow an IPv6-only host to access IPv4 servers or vice versa.
Since it can speak the SOCKS protocol, Polipo can be used together with the tor anonymising network.
Main features:
- Polipo will use HTTP/1.1 pipelining if it believes that the remote server supports it, whether the incoming requests are pipelined or come in simultaneously on multiple connections (this is more than the simple usage of persistent connections, which is done by e.g. Squid);
- Polipo will cache the initial segment of an instance if the download has been interrupted, and, if necessary, complete it later using Range requests;
- Polipo will upgrade client requests to HTTP/1.1 even if they come in as HTTP/1.0, and up- or downgrade server replies to the clients capabilities (this may involve conversion to or from the HTTP/1.1 chunked encoding);
- Polipo has complete support for IPv6 (except for scoped (link-local) addresses).
- Polipo can optionally use a technique known as Poor Mans Multiplexing to reduce latency even further.

ngrep 1.45
ngrep will help you identify and analyze anomalous network communications such as those between worms, viruses and/or zombies more>>
ngrep currently recognizes IPv4/6, UDP, TCP, ICMPv4/6, IGMP and Raw across Ethernet, PPP, FDDI, SLIP, Token Ring and null interfaces, and understands BPF filter logic in the same fashion as more common packet sniffing tools, such as tcpdump and snoop.
How to use ngrep:
ngrep has traditionally been used to debug plaintext protocol interactions such as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, etc., to identify and analyze anomalous network communications such as those between worms, viruses and/or zombies, and to store, read and reprocess pcap dump files while looking for specific data patterns.
On the other hand, it can be used to do the more mundane plaintext credential collection as with HTTP Basic Authentication, FTP or POP3 authentication, and so forth. Like all useful tools, it can be used for good and bad.

Igor Tolmachev Host 1.1
Host is a command prompt Windows utility ported from FreeBSD Host utility. more>> Host is a command prompt Windows utility ported from FreeBSD Host utility.
Host looks for information about Internet hosts. It gets this information from a set of interconnected servers that are spread across the world.
By default, it simply converts between host names and Internet addresses.
However, with the [-d] or [-a] options, it can be used to find all of the information about this host that is maintained by the domain server (A, MX, NS records, TTL).
The arguments can be either host names or host numbers. The program first attempts to interpret them as host numbers. If this fails, it will treat them as host names. A host number consists of IPv4 dotted decimal quad (127.0.0.1). A host name consists of names separated by dots.<<less
