It works on XP and Vista, but there are tweaks that works only on Vista. I will come up with something to let the user know wich ones work on XP.
There many things to get started with it, but i will post a few of the facts and features so you get a glimpse on what it does.
- The interface is nice and simple.
- Every tweak has its description so the user can see what each one does.
- Tweaks are organized into tabs, each tab is subdivided in sections by group boxes. This way it is easy to find the tweak the user is looking for.
- I will implement a preset system to get the user to tweak his system quickyl without getting into all the descriptions.
Latest Changes:
- Added fading of controls for every dialog box
- More tweaks were added
- Some keys werent checked properly
- Added the useful windows installer support in safe mode
- Again, more validations are performed before making changes
- Some code got cleaned up
- Tooltips for command buttons were removed
- Solved the exit program validation from the X button that wasnt working
- Miscellaneous corrections and improvements<<less

This is exactly what the 2IP StartGuard is designed to detect. It monitors all known ways of auto-starting a program directly from Windows, and it also immediately detects a modification (e.g. infection) of any file that is currently using any of these ways to start itself upon starting the computer.
