Greppes Text Tools 2.6
Two GREPs that edit text on any PC with MSDOS more>> Greppes are GREPs that Edit with many options. They are programming or admin tools for Investigation and Change of any files on ANY PCs that use DOS. They are oriented towards English byte characters but can be adapted for other languages to include UNICODE double bytes. PDGREPPE is Pattern Definition GREP with Pattern Editing FGREPPE is Fast or Fixed GREP with Pattern Editing. Each uses (CLI) Command Line Interface and can be customised for International Text bytes, data logging, default directories, environment and custom filter shell commands. Both can edit by interactive or automatic modes with full respect for file-sharing properties. Uses DOS 8.3, IFS or Long File Names on command line or CLI extension file. Options are available by menus of FILE, VIEW, SEARCH, REPLACE, MISC and HELP. PDGREPPE has other menus for pattern DEFINITIONS. PDGREPPE searches by Extended Regular Expressions similar to EGREP on UNIX systems. It can reuse search patterns from user created definition files, employ (MarkedGroups) of pattern data that may be reused later by optional user specified reference names in search and replace patterns. Magic or wildcard symbols and formats are like those in other GREPS and PERL. They include most standard punctuation characters "^$[].(){}#%-/;!?*+&|~`@:,="and backslash "\" that represent data positions, ranges of characters (sets), ANY byte, Marked and Unmarked Groups, reuse of Marked Group patterns, positive and negative Repititions, OR and AND operators, control, literal file inclusion and separation. These allow searches to be made for imprecise alternate forms of data. FGREPPE is more simple like FGREP on UNIX systems and does a search and replace based on FIXED patterns. GREPPES feature screen paging, word wrap, high light of match areas, recursive descent into file system, multiple drive specification and MANY other options as detailed in on-line documentation file README.EXE and at Web at http://isvs.tripod.com.<<less

ACQC Metrics computes typical source code file and function metrics. What are metrics good for? Well, it measures the software in terms of complexity for example. Very long or complex functions can be identified in order to break them down in smaller pieces (for better maintainability). Maybe you are also just interested in knowing of big the software currently is, then ACQC metrics is also good for you.
Just drag & drop files on its main window. Metrics are then computed and displayed in a list. The contents of the lists can be copied and pasted.
Alternatively, the tool can be driven by command line options (tool -o output.xml file-to-parse.cpp) with no gui for integration as a batch job in other tools.
Features:
-Supports following metrics:
- LINES: the number of physical lines in your file
- LLOC: the logical lines of code (without comments, without spaces)
- LLOCi: the logical lines of comments (lines caontaining only comments)
- LLOW: the logical whitespace lines (lines without any other content than whitespace characters)
- PROCS: the number of procedures/functions inside the file
- CARGS: the total number of arguments used by the function or functions in the file
- CC: the cyclomatic complexity known also under McCabe complexity, represents the number of decisions taken by the code
- DC: the \"depth\" complexity. If you imbricate a lot (ifs inside ifs or whiles inside switches for example) this will get high.
- Displays a kiviat diagram
- Highlights the functions that lies outside of the normal range
The tool doesnt need any setup and does not modify your registry. The only prerequisite is to have a .NET 3.5 framework installed.

SkyDome is a star chart utility which eneables you to study stars, planets, galaxies andradio sky using an interactive interface.
SkyDome is one of the few electronic skymaps that display the multiwavelength milkyway, or The Radio Sky.
Different types of radiation are visualized via the interface, like 408MHz radiowaves, gamma-, x-rays,.... Each frequency shows different aspects of the universe. SkyDome has maps created by satellites like COBE, EGRET, IUE etc.
The movement of the stars in the constellations during the earths rotation is easy to understand when looking at a distance. This is the aliens view. The alien (you) looks from outside the universe at fixed spot on the planet and sees the nightsky of the observer.
Main features:
- Data from approx. 120000 stars from the Hipparcos catalogue from ESA, 1989. Real-time and fastforward rendered. The users perspective (longitude and latitude) can be changed using the mouse.
- Planetary bodys like Sun, Moon and planet positions are the map.
- The Multi Wavelength Milky way and Radio Sky is rendered at real-time.
- A Radio source from El Arecibo (Puerto Rico) is included and drawn using IFS.
- The Fish-eye view displays the sky from the earths ground (and looking straight up).
- Controllable Light-Transfer-Function The nightsky looks very differently under different conditions. This has to do with the light-pollution and other atmospheric conditions. You can simulate this using keyboard controls. -
