Leak Monitor will detect one very specific type of leak in chrome JavaScript and in websites. (Not in JavaScript components, though.) It detects when JavaScript objects in the chrome or Web page are still held by native code after the window is closed.
Some of these leaks are things that are clearly bugs in the extension (such as registering observers with the observer service forever) and some are things that arguably shouldnt leak (at varying argument strengths). The things that are exposed to Web pages are definitely things that shouldnt leak, and most of those bugs are close to being fixed. However, a bunch of those bugs are present in Firefox 1.5 and easy for extension authors to work around (call removeEventListener to match addEventListener for functions added as event listeners).

The Sideshow application can be locked to the left or Right of the Desktop and intergrates MSN Messenger and MS Outlook into the bar itself. The task panes are called tickets and can be added or removed at leisure such tickets include weather maps, road traffic, webcams, live content and a task scheduler.

Each time an RDP packet containing a specific type of malformation is processed, the memory leak depletes overall server memory by a small amount.
If an attacker sent a sufficiently large quantity of such data to an affected machine, he could deplete the machine's memory to the point where response time would be slowed or the machine's ability to respond would be stopped altogether. All system services would be affected, including but not limited to terminal services. Normal operation could be restored by rebooting the machine.
