This application is quite specific in what it does.
It should be run with a command line by an application like a fax/voicemail manager, then it will pop up an events list and strobe the keyboard LEDs.
Alerter is pretty small, easy-to-use and does not require any installation.

DriveGLEAM also supports output via parallel port so that you can for example have a red led for write and a green led for read access.

Finaly DriveGLEAM supports controlling a external LED panel via the PCs parallel port. A function that especially case-modders would find interesting :)
DriveGLEAM uses very few resources and does not unlike other simmilar tools use hooks or other "tricks" to get the job done. Also please note that even if DriveGLEAM is know to be quite robust and if DriveGLEAM would crash its designed to NOT cause any drives to freeze and cause corruption or loose data.
