Free tethered shooting script with bracketing, time lapse and remote shutter release. Can do both JPG and RAW on Nikon DSLR cameras, testing with D40, D300 by author and many other models inlcuding D3, D700, D50, D60, D70 and D80 by other users. Works perfectly in XP SP2 and partially in Vista depending on individual configurations some users are unable to get RAW support on Vista but JPG works for almost everybody.
Written as a Hyper Text Application (HTA) it looks like a web page, but it connects to your DSLR camera and allows you to control the camera remotely. You can set the mode (P, M, A, S) and shutter speed or aperture from the computer, then trigger shots with a button either on the camera or on the PC.
Optionally it allows you to start up "tethered shooting" so that any shots taken with the camera are immediately downloaded to the PC where they are displayed by DIYPHOTOBITS.COM Camera Control, or you can use Adobe Bridge or Lightroom to view them even better.
Time lapse option allows scheduled shooting such as once every 30 seconds.
Bracketing allows shots to be automatically taken at plus and minus exposures so that HDR shots are more easily done even if your camera does not support this.
System Requirements: Windows XP SP2 and a dSLR camera such as a Nikon D40 or D300
Enhancements: Bug fixes

StuckVideoPixelRemover 1.0

StuckVideoPixelRemover 1.0 gives you a fast and reliable plugin (currently only Sony Vegas on Windows is supported) to remove the hot pixels and eventual dus spots from your video footage.
Dust or host/stuck/dead pixels are generally not considered as a problem for a photographer. Modern DSLRs (e.g. the Canon 5D mk2) have built in defective pixel remapping. Most RAW processing software (e.g. Lightroom and Bibble Labs) have a feature to automatically fix defective pixels.
When the picture was converted to JPEG it gets a little bit more complicated since the strong discontinuity of a hot pixel causes JPEG compression artifacts in the surrounding pixels. However sufficient tools exist to fix these spots with a minimum of effort. It's more tricky when using your DSLR to shoot video.
Since this is a relatively new feature on DSLRs the defective pixel problem or the dust spots in the captured video is also new. There are not much tools yet available to fix this problem. To make it even worse... For reasons not known to me Canon does not even use the defective pixel remapping data that is available in the camera during video capture. In video hot pixels show up the doesn't show up when taking photos.

Adobe Camera Raw 4.2
CS3 plug-in added support for more cameras from Canon, Fuji, Olympus more>> The camera raw functionality in Adobe Photoshop software provides fast and easy access within Photoshop to the "raw" image formats produced by many leading professional and midrange digital cameras. By working with these "digital negatives," you can achieve the results you want with greater artistic control and flexibility while still maintaining the original "raw" files.
The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in became the latest must-have tool for professional photographers when it was released in February 2003. This powerful plug-in has been updated to support more cameras and include more features, and is available as part of Adobe Photoshop CS3. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is also available and is built upon the same powerful raw processing technology that is available in the camera raw plug-in.<<less

This new version of the Camera Raw plug-inFastPictureViewer (32-Bit) 1.0.113
FastPictureViewer (32-Bit)is regarded as a nice-to-use and efficient utility which is able to speed up the workflow of professional photographers more>>
FastPictureViewer (32-Bit) 1.0.113 is regarded as a nice-to-use and efficient utility which is able to speed up the workflow of professional photographers and provides full color management including support for custom profiled monitors, rating functions compliant with windows Vista and Adobe XMP standards, instant RGB histogram and EXIF windows, instant magnifier, image preloading/caching and optional Direct3D acceleration for ultimate viewing speed on modern computers.
Major Features:
- FastPictureViewer can help you save time.
- Its aim is to be your first choice for a quick first-pass culling/review of (very) large quantities of images. Once your rough selection is made and you have copied/tagged the images you want to keep, FastPictureViewer has done its job and your usual workflow (Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture NX, DPP, IDimager, IMatch, whatever...) picks up from there as usual.
- Slashing the initial review time in three is typical, thanks to the speed of everything FastPictureViewer does, viewing, rating, copying, all is virtually instantaneous vs. 1 second here, 2 seconds there, thousands of times, with all competing solutions.
Enhancements:
- Adds support for the Sigma X3F raw format.
Requirements:
- FastPictureViewer was initially created on Windows Vista for Windows Vista and runs on Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Developement is currently hosted exclusively on Windows 7 64-bit, where both the native 64-bit and native 32-bit versions of the program and codecs are produced.
- The program also runs on Windows XP SP3 with some limitations but beware that some XP display drivers have quirks that might prevent them to support FastPictureViewer's hardware-accelerated mode: use Windows Vista or later
- Windows 7 and Vista also offers more robust and better performing tethered shooting abilities for FastPictureViewer Pro for both 32 and 64 bit editions.
to keep, FastPictureViewer has done its job and your usual workflow (Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture NX, DPP, IDimager, IMatch, whatever...) picks up from there as usual. Slashing the initialLicense:Freeware
