Why do I need Link-Spider? Today link exchanging is more prevelant than ever. Often the success or failure of a website can depend on an effective linking stategy. But how can you make sure that:
- The site you are exchanging links with is still displaying your link.
- The site doesnt have an exsessive number of outgoing links.
- The site is visable by search engines and will be followed.
Link-Spider can solve all of these problems by giving you a detailed report on each link exchange partner.
How many links can I have? You can either put one URL into the program or load a list of URLs from a text file. There is no limit to the number or URLs you can load as some sites may have 100s of back links.
Why is is checking reciprocal links so important? Many of todays top webmasters are choosing to buy or swap links with very high level sites.
So there is alot to be gained or lost by the success of these reciprocal links.
Some webmasters are also exchaning links with sites because of the google PageRank that they have, so it is important to make sure that this stays the same also.

Version restrictions:
- In the trial mode, Link Spider will only import a MAX of 10 URLs
- The Google PR function in Link Spider, is limited to 50 searchs per day,
until registered.
- You must register Link Spider to download the latest Knowledge Database
Information.
- In Un-Registered Mode you can only run one profile at a time.
NOTE: Although the program is freeware, you have to register it with a valid email address.

When visiting a website, Niche Spider also leaves its calling card in the sites visitor logs (the Referer and User-Agent, which you can set), just like Googlebot or any other spider or web crawler. That, in itself, is a great way to announce yourself to the world, and to generate some curiosity/traffic at the same time.
However , Niche Spider is NOT Googlebot, or Yahoos Slurp, or MSNs MSNBot. Google, Yahoo and MSN have access to computers, servers and databases us lesser mortals can only dream about.
And the spiders they use crawl the web, looking for and following links to pages, which are then added to their respective databases. Such is their power they can traverse the entire web in a month or two, or less, adding and updating billions of pages in the process.
Niche Spider does NOT crawl the web, but targets a small piece of the web instead (a niche area). You decide what that niche is. It may, or may not be related to your websites theme. Thats completely up to you.
And before we get started, theres a couple of other points. Niche Spider is FREE. However, in return, the odd link is added to the bottom of one or two of the pages produced (not every page). Of course, you can delete any such links if you wish. But if you keep any on, however, it would be very much appreciated.
It is also possible to make some cash by adding Google AdSense code to each template. Or you can include whatever affiliate products you may be aiming to promote. Its up to you. But theyll then appear on every page produced by Niche Spider. Enough said!
