Coalesys HTTP Client addresses the needs of developers who wish to perform HTTP requests and examine HTTP responses Coalesys HTTP Client is a free component, created to address the needs of developers who wish to perform HTTP requests and examine HTTP responses by using a high performance and simple COM object.
Implemented as an ActiveX DLL, the Coalesys HTTP Client was written entirely in Visual C++ and is dependency-free, not requiring any MFC, ATL or WinInet DLLs.
Main features:
- Use any valid HTTP Request method (GET, HEAD, POST, etc.).
- Connect to a server on any port.
- Customize Request headers.
- Configure for use of a proxy server.
- Retrieve Response Status, Headers and Body as strings.
- Use in any compatible ActiveX environment, including those that do not support events (such as ASP).

HTTPLib will enable you to parse HTTP server replies and will generate request headers. This enables you to write programs that incorporate HTTP, and retrieve files from HTTP servers without writing any additional code.
All you have to do is pass the server reply to a module function, and the function returns the file, headers (or both). The module can even compose basic request headers ("Accept", "User-Agent" and "Referer" supported).

HTTP Log Deux works on top of TCP Server Deux, HTTP Server Deux and
TCP Deux, 4D components developped by Deep Sky Technologies,
Inc.
HTTP Log Deux also requires that the BASh 4D component be installed
for it to operate correctly. BASh is a 4D component available for
free from DSTi and it handles all of the core routines needed to
properly run eTrans.
All of the code within the HTTP Log Deux component is ready to use
immediately. There are no compiler issues to be concerned about; all
of the variables are typed in compiler methods for even the most
stringent 4D developers. Just install the component in your structure
and start calling the methods within it. It is really that simple!
As with any beta software, this is still a work in progress. Watch
for announcements about updates which will become available, as we are
continually working on improving the documentation and adding new
features to the HTTP Log Deux component.
