Manifest 3.1.1 is well-known as a handy as well as reliable program in which you can store all your vehicle photographs, descriptions, advert text, and window display text. These can then be printed out in different formats for most common needs.
There are many "picture organizer" programs around but all they normally do is organize your picture into categories. Quite often they do not actually "store" your pictures but just store the location of the picture. In Manifest, the pictures are always stored intact in the program's own database and can be easily exported again in the exact state before they were added.

Once the "Give Vista Look" command is given, if your program name is "program.exe", a "program.exe.manifest" file is created and it sits belong your program. Just run your program to view the newly rounded and shaded controls.
Works under XP and Vista.
Requirements and cautions
Vista Look runs only with Windows Vista or XP. Changes in your program (or any third-party program installed on your computer) work only with these versions of Windows. User of older versions of Windows will view only the old look, the manifest file is just ignored.
The Vista Look program and programs modified by it, require commctl32 version 6.0, that is assumed to be provided with all version of Windows XP and Vista.
Vista Look should work with 32 bits and 64 bits versions of Windows.
Do not modify the content of the manifest file. When the file is recognized, a bad content will prevent the associated program to run. But you can delete it with no problem. If ever the program refuses to run, just delete the manifest file.

The program is free and distributed under the Mozilla 1.1 license.
You can use it and distribute it freely. Do not change the copyright header and all copyright notice with authors name displayed by the program and documentation.
You can include Vista Look along with you own programs, to allow your users beautify themselves your programs if they want, providing the license and copyright infos are unchanged. Actually, including the manifest file should be sufficient and without problem.

Instructions to use this program:
- Run JADMaker. Drag and drop a JAR file onto the window. JAD generated. That's it!
- Drag and drop a JAR file onto the JADMaker.exe icon in a Windows Explorer window. This means you can also create a desktop shortcut to JADMaker.exe, and then drop JAR file(s) onto the shortcut.
- Once the "Make JAD" Explorer Context-Menu extension is enabled (by checking it in the program), you can right click on any JAR file(s) for a quick "Make JAD".
Remember that you can process multiple JAR files at one time (=batch processing). Just select multiple files, and use any of the ways above (this is really the icing on the cake!). With so many ways to get your JAD file, you are spoilt for choice!!!
No special installation is required on Windows. JADMaker can be put in any folder (together with other required files). You may make a shortcut to it on your Desktop.
