FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is one of the most commonly used methods for transfering files on the Internet and is widely supported by a large variety of clients, including popular web browsers. Meteor FTP fully supports the FTP protocol as described in the Internet Engineering Task Force RFC 959, as well as several of the protocol extensions being considered by the FTPEXT Working Group.
Meteor FTP features a straightforward, easy to use interface, stability and good performance for personal FTP sites. With Meteor FTP you can allow users to upload and download files to your computer using either a specific logon and password or anonymous access. Meteor FTP server features unlimited connections, IP filtering, upload/download ratios, explicit limits per user, real time server activity monitoring, run from taskbar and numerous other convenient features.

This means that the WHOLE trail will be captured. HandyAvi suppresses "false trigger events" so that camera noise, star scintillation, stars drifting slowly across the field, etc. do not cause images to be recorded. The file produced after a night of imaging will be very small, containing only events that pass the sophisticated "trigger event" tests. The meteor trail imaging mode can also be used to capture lightning during storms, airplane trails, satellite passes...
