NOTE: The Web Publishing Wizard is available in the ValuPack\Webpost folder of the Microsoft Office 97 CD or from the Microsoft Web site. The wizard is used to automate the process of copying files from your hard disk to a Web server.
You have installed a version of the Web Publishing Wizard that is newer than the version provided on the Office 97 CD without installing the version on the CD first. The newer version of the Web Publishing Wizard creates the incorrect keys in the Windows Registry if installed without a prior install of the Web Publishing Wizard from the Office 97 CD.

The Property Editor utility allows you to edit the startup properties for an MDB file without having to open the database directly. The utility is primarily intended for Access developers who prefer to distribute their mdb or mde applications with the AllowBypassKey property disabled.
Startup Properties:
Startup properties affect how your database application appears when it is opened. For example, startup properties enable you to customize the applications title bar, menus, toolbars, and startup form.
The Property Editor exposes 12 of the standard properties available from MS Access and in addition, also exposes the Allow "SHIFT" To Bypass Startup Options (AllowBypassKey) property, useful for developers who wish to further secure their database design. In some cases, with an MDBs startup properties, you can alter options that could result in you being locked out of your database design. If you are faced with this situation, you can quickly edit the database startup properties with the Property Editor without having to import all the objects into a new database file or write VBA code in an external database to reset the properties.
(Access 2000 or later users should ensure that the mdb file that they wish to edit is not set to compact on close. Please read the FAQs for more help.)

When a user formats a disk in a removable hard drive with the NTFS file system, and the computer has the "allowed to eject removable NTFS media" group policy applied, Windows 2000 does not set the appropriate ACLs to grant non-administrative users access to the disk. As a result, a non-administrative user may be denied access to removable media (such as an Iomega Jaz disk, or other removable hard drives). A non-administrative user who formats the drive will not have authority to change the inappropriate ACLs, and will be denied access to the disk.
