Monster application is a short SNES/NES style RPG. It is licensed under a BSD license.

Estimated playing time is 5-10 hours. If you are not patient, this game is probably not for you. There are a lot of random battles.

My goal when creating this game was to have it run on my Pentium 200MMX. I met the goal: it runs acceptably well on that old machine. The fact that it had to run on old hardware played a big factor in how fancy I could get. If you like Oldskewl graphics and gameplay, you may like Monster.

WWW::Scraper::Monster is a Perl module that scrapes Monster.com.

Monster Masher is an action game for the Gnome desktop environment.

In the old days, before man entered the world, the gnomes were abundant. Through centuries of hard labour, only slightly eased by the levitational powers provided to them by their god, they bored out shafts and caves in the mountains. Always seeking the precious stones and valuable ore...

Ping Monster is a basic ping monitor with a super fancypants graph.

The size and graphics are customizable to fit into any environment.

Usage:
Resizing: click and then drag on the edge or corner.
Hiding all text: click and then click on the small T that appears in the upper right.
Check the preferences for everything else.

If you are deleting files using normal deletion methods, then you are leaving all the data in those files readily available to anyone with access to your computer! File Monster, on the other hand, completely erases and deletes files from your system -- overwriting all the data in the file to ensure that a file recovery utility will not be able to recover the file or, more importantly, the data contained in it. The reason your data is still readily available when you delete files with normal deletion methods is because the procedure only tells the operating system to not recognize the file as being present anymore; however, the data contained in those files has not actually been erased and, thus, anyone with a simple file recovery utility can very easily get all that data back to do with as they wish. Use File Monster to prevent your senstive data from being compromised.

File Monster description

Dont leave sensitive data on your computer: deleted files are the first place many computer savvy people will look when they are trying to discover sensitive information on your computer. Some important questions you have to consider:

1. Is there information on your computer that you dont want just anyone to have access to?
2. When you leave your office at night, just who has access to your computer?
3. Do you trust that neighbor that comes over to your house to use (or fix) your computer? How about your roommate?
4. Do you trust the people you give your computer to when something needs installed or fixed?

Now maybe these people will just snoop around -- or maybe theyll take the information they collect for their own use, or theyll use the information they find against you!
