MorsePlay uses text to play morse code through the speakers. Speeds can be adjusted as well as sound pitch.
Text files can be loaded or text can simply be typed in. A bitmap is produced that contains the morse code in dot-dash format. Bitmap colors can be changed. MorsePlay also contains a morse code chart for reference.
This is a great program for those wanting to practice their morse code receiving skills.

If youre one of the many hams whose principal operating mode is SSB, then the easiest way to increase your enjoyment of the hobby is to use CW. If you disagree with that statement, then theres a good chance, if youre honest with yourself, that the reason is because you have never been good enough at Morse to make using it an enjoyable experience.
Say what you like about Morse, theres no denying that code can make it when phone would be lost in the noise. And CW opens up the exciting possibility of going on the air using simple transmitters and receivers you can easily build. But if you struggle to copy CW, its no fun at all.
Many proficient CW operators recommend operating during a major contest as a way to improve your speed. But there arent contests every day. Now, with my new program MorseTest, you can have a CW contest any time you want. Its the most fun way to improve your Morse proficiency that I know of, and I guarantee that youll notice an improvement after just a few hours.
MorseTest application was designed to be Morse proficiency builder, not a contest operating trainer. Subsequent to my developing MorseTest, VE3NEA released a very similar looking program called MorseRunner which is a much more realistic contest simulator. If you would like a contest simulator program that runs under Windows, try MorseRunner instead.
MorseTest was written as a tool to help me improve my codespeed. It is a simple contest-like game, the aim of which is to log as many "contacts" as possible in an hour. To make a contact, you must type in the call and contest exchange for the stations you hear. Be warned, its quite addictive...

Regulate speed with WPM.
In the older SuperAldis the speed was a bit tricky to adjust, now you can
just set the speed in WPM (words per minute) speed directly.
There is a separate setting for the spacing speed (WPM).
Usually the spacing speed should be the same as the word speed, but for learning
It s a good advice to set this to 1 or 2.
More accurate timing.
SuperAldis is now adjusted to the 1:3:7 standard.

Sending 6 words in a minute (paris paris paris paris paris paris) should be accurate on most systems.
Use Caps Lock or Num Lock LED to display or blink.
At first this seems just like a funny gimmick, but remember that many screens and graphic cards can be slow.
Using the keyboard LED vill give you a clear and distinct light source that resembles an aldis lamp from the distance.
If you have the time you can change one of the LEDs with a strong white LED.
If you intend to use a stronger LED or lamp, horn or heliograph instead of the LED, you
will need to use a fast relay between the keyboard LED and the device.
Also remember to turn of Caps Lock and/or NumLock before you start.

You can also have a click sound when the lamp starts to illuminate, in order to mimic the relay sound.
You can also use this feature if you want to train on learning to receive Morse if some one is trying to send Morse code

Just select "Network" at the main menu.
In the Network QSO menu turn on the receiver.
