A utility that makes it easy to edit the fie MSDOS.SYS. You only have chekc or uncheck the boxes and select some options from a pulldown menu. After clicking the Accept button, the actual editing will be done for you. Beside that MSDOS Editor does a lot more. First of all it makes a backup of the old file, to restore it when you might meet problems. And it also cleansup MSDOS.SYS Entries that are equal tothe Windows default values are removed, because the are not really needed. Beside that it moves all entries that are placed below the fill up lines above these lines, where they belong. This keeps the file clean and it makes it easy to see all properties at once whenever you might need to inspect the file with a normal text editor.

You can create and edit your digital images with ease! more>> By Evans Image Editor (EIE) is a free image editor that allows for editing and creation of animated or still images. It contains several GPU-powered image modifiers that take advantage of modern graphics hardware, giving you an instant preview of the effect while you adjust parameters. It also has a non-binary selection system, allowing you to "partially select" pixels and apply drawing tool and modification actions that perform weighted averages based on the selection value.
EIE has a non-binary selection system which allows you to soften the edges of your selected pixel region.
EIE allows you to select multiple layers/frames at once and perform batch modifications. Modifiers can use either the GPU or CPU. CPU-based modifiers will split the processing of multiple images among multiple processors, taking advantage of systems with multi-core processors.
EIEs hue brush tool allows you to modify the defining color of pixels without changing the perceptual detail level. This shot shows the hue brush tool changing the green leaves to orange.
EIE has animated cursor read and write support. You can create your own animated cursors from scratch, convert animated GIFs to animated cursors, or convert animated cursors to animated GIFs.

* Can work in layers mode or frames mode (use the pulldown at the right side of the tool bar to switch between the two)
* Can load .AVI movies. Upon loading a movie, you can scroll through its frames to a point of your choice, and then extract frames (Frame -> Extract frames from selected video)

Concepts Editor is a Bookmarks Manager and a Comments Manager oriented by Concepts. This program provides a concept oriented approach for accessing text notes (or comments), and bookmarks (URLs or absolute paths). It uses a tree of concepts to hold a hierarchy of concepts and associated data. Each concept may have several named notes and lists of bookmarks associated to it. Each bookmark may have a comment associated to it. Basic text editor functionality is provided mainly to support edition of notes (or comments).
The tree of concepts will make it easier for you to locate the relevant list of bookmarks that you are seeking.
The graphical user interface can maintain a visual relationship between a selected item and its related items, which makes it easier to explore related information. For instance, if a bookmark is selected its associated comment (if it exists) is automatically displayed.
The lists of bookmarks can be used to:
-Hold Internet addresses (Web pages, ftp sites, etc.).
-Hold file locations on local hard drive or local network.
-Hold references to programs that are useful for specific tasks.
When a bookmark is opened, Concepts Editor, depending on link type, will launch:
-The OS default Web browser to open a Web address.
