Neat Suite 1 is a powerful and splendid package which contains four key components that are not available elsewhere: TWaveDevice, TMultimediaTimer, TDigitDetector and TSortedStringGrid.
TWaveDevice is an ideal component to work with wavein / waveout of sound cards and modems. All you have to do is to push and pop buffers. TMultimediaTimer is a high resolution timer that works in its own thread. Necessary for multimedia applications. TDigitDetector is an accurate component that works both in its own thread or the same thread to detect Pulse and Tone digits - something that no modem ever seems to be capable of. TSortedStringGrid is a flexible grid control which lets you sort both columns and rows. Seven example programs with source code are also provided to illustrate the usage of these components. All components have help files.
