NetSend GUI 0.60
Lets you send messages via a familar Windows interface and also maintain an address book. more>> Lets you send messages via a familar Windows interface and also maintain an address book.
Is your PC running on a LAN, maybe even in a workplace? If so, you may have used the Net Send DOS command before. This command (Net is the command infact, Send is just an argument) lets you send messages to the other computers on the network. You would ordinarily need to use the command prompt to send such messages - in steps NetSend GUI.
The NetSend GUI application was designed to let you send messages via a familar Windows interface and also maintain an address book. NetSend GUI now supports the Net Send protocol directly which provides feedback on if a message was sent successfully or not. This also means that the Messenger service does not need to be running when using NetSend GUI.
If you would like NetSendGUI to start minimised to the system tray, then you can pass "MINIMIZE" (minus quote or not - its upto you; as long as MINIMIZE appears as an argument somewhere then itll work fine) as an argument and it wont display a window when it starts. The main use of starting NetSendGUI minimised is if you have got it running when Windows starts.
As well as clicking on the Clear button to clear the current message, you can also double-click the message area to also clear it.
Finally, clicking on an entry in the Address Book displays a context menu with some extra options.
NOTE: Free for NON comercial use
