LiteBackup 1.0 testing
A small backup program with delayed deletion of files at the destination and configurable thread priority. No money. more>>
Requires .net framework
Configuration
The following options can be configured:
# thread priority (should be low so the system doesnt become slow) there might be problems with some settings under Win98/ME
# number of executions before deletion
# silent operation (the form doesnt show)
# destination directory
# network drive credentials (stored in clear text !)
# directories to backup
# directories to exclude
# extensions to backup/exclude
Bugs
It is possible (even probable :) that the program still contains some bugs so feel free to report them as well as any suggestions.
This was written as a project for one exam at a faculty (not an important one) so its not perfect. I wish that it was some Linux exam but it wasnt :( It was also written as a result of my frustration after i spent a week googeling for a backup program and everything I found was eating up resources like hell and it just copied files and didnt delete them at the destination so it made a big mess.

AnetTest 1.0
Automated testing of network devices and applications (packet generator and sniffer) more>> Automated testing of network devices and applications (packet generator and sniffer)
The AnetTest application was designed to test the network devices and applications.
Main features:
- Generating any packets on channel level for Ethernet networks
- Work with TCP sessions. Sending and receiving concrete data over TCP connection. Imitating client or server
- The ability of sending some data alternating with recieving some expected data
- Using (creating) own headers for any network protocol or packets template
- Using flexible language with conditions, variables, cycles and others
- Creating own sniffers with concrete output. Powerful analysis of packets
- Writing various network tools for testing, monitoring or imitating network objects
- Work with statistic resulted from tests. Displaying summary reports
- Automatic (automated) testing of firewalls
- Imitating the work of network applications using info from trace file (samples/convtest1, samples/convtest2). It may be useful for implementing automatic (automated) testing of firewall.
- Modifing and powerful analyzing of trace files

-Displays system IP addresses and MAC addresses
-Displays all local TCP/IP connections and their foreign connection IP address
-Allows you to view quotations from a remote Quote server
-Lists the available network services (HTTP, Telnet, DNS, SMTP, and so on) for a particular host
-Allows you to verify any e-mail address by simply entering a full user principal name (user@domain.com)
-Displays available online tools, how-to?s, tips, and news.
Checking on Network bottlenecks is usually done by a common set of Network Diagnostic Tools. Of course any of these tools are built in to the operating systems. However, they are commonly used in a command line format with zero or limited reporting capabilities. These tools are often run one at a time as well. So what if you could use these tools and even see the results all in the same workspace? Netinfo provides the answer putting together a collection of 15 common network tools that can help you analyze potential network issues or provide help in getting answers on where the trouble lies.

VE Network Catcher (Lite) 4.5
Network Catcher, from Shunra Software, is a free network monitoring tool that records and displays latency and packet loss between your PC and any internet site. Use this freeware tool to monitor the more>>
Network Catcher also integrates with Shunras network simulation technology, enabling you to capture and import production conditions directly into network simulation scenarios and test applications under real-life network conditions. Network Catchers production network recordings are also ideal for baselining the performance of the production network, including best case, worst case and average application performance - giving you a great starting point from which to make informed decisions on performance limitations and expectations for new or existing applications that are about to be deployed over the network.
Using production network parameters is ideal for testing applications when the target network already exists, such as a companys corporate network or a customers network. However, if the target network has not yet been designed or built out, you can record a variety of different production networks and create a library of production network conditions which you can then use to test your applications and ensure that that they meet performance expectations in any potential network environment.
