On complex sources they tend to produce a pumping sound, distort or just make your music lifeless. There are manufacturers telling you this is the only compressor youll ever need. Dont believe them. Sound signals are far too complex to be handled by a single device.
Your music deserves care and attention to details. This applies especially to the post-mixdown stage, often referred to as mastering.Endorphin is no universal talent either. It is a specialist for complex sources like a mixdown, after having made minor sonic adjustments and right before burning the track to CD.
SE Endorphin plugin was designed to provide two independent frequency bands.
Furthermore, it can help to increase depth, definition and loudness of a track.
I call it an analog-style compressor: endorphin uses models like frequency-dependent nonlinear operation, different harmonics creation stages as well as two basic compressor circuits taken from the analog realm.

- Two independent frequency bands (low and high frequency processing)
- Switchable stereo or M/S mode operation
- Two basic compressor designs:
- modern vca mode with soft-knee characteristics and manual time constants. This mode provides an instant response behaviour and deep compression, using a feed-forward circuit
- Vintage-style opto (photo resistor) mode, modelled after ancient opto-electrical compressors. The time constants stay manually set, but they are also affected by the signals energy. This mode has the typical opto-style overshoot on quick transients, this is one of the most gentle compressors you may find. Classical feed-back detector circuit
- Adjustable high-level output stage with analog-style saturation
- Global de-comp/sat section. Its you who decides how the unit reacts to large amounts of gain reduction as well as when and how to saturate.
- Maximum output: -0.1dBFS. This is very helpful when using the plugin as the last stage before burning the CD.

GoldenGem 2.0 offers PC users one of the best of the neural network stock prediction programs. It is a simple no-nonsense program, containing a sophisticated mathematical calculation, which has been very successfully used by a few top traders.
Its StockDownloader downloads free data. Select tickers, in capitals, separated by commas, including any that may influence the price you wish to analyze.
Press the File: button to load data from the internet. Select your ticker to display on the right. Select a number of days on the slider. You will see three traces going across the graph. The red trace is the historical price of your chosen ticker. The blue trace is a copy of this, advanced by the number of days on the slider.
The green trace is the neural nets attempt to match the blue curve, but using all loaded prices and volumes from the earlier time indicated by the red trace. Raise the sensitivity until the green and blue curves begin to match, and leave it running.
After a while, you can lower the sensitivity. If the green curve still matches the blue curve, this means the neural net can match the advanced blue curve based on loaded prices and volumes from the earlier time. It can continue this calculation for an interval of time an equal number of days into the future, and therefore give an opinion about the selected ticker at that time.
- The trader, wishing to quantify the relationship among a group of stock or share prices, and/or indices, enters the tickers in capital letters, separated by commas.
- The needed historical and real time share price quotes and volumes are looked up and compared automatically.
- The neural network searches for a nonlinear mathematical relationship (pattern) relating the prices and volumes to the ticker of interest, while the user participates by controlling a sensitivity (also called 'momentum') adjustment
- When sensitivity is then set to zero, graphs show two years of correct and rigorous backtesting. through which the user may visually assess whether the relationship is valid throughout historical time.
- The relationship is extended into the future to make a forecast, by the number of days the user has set on the slider during training.
- There is no buy/sell indicator: the reliability of the forecast depends on the user's visual verification of the match between the two graphs obtained during backtesting, and the his estimation of the likelihood that the mathematical relationship which has been found will continue to hold in the future.

Play as one of four different members of the Hard Corps team. Raised in the city slums, Ray Poward is an expert combatant. Sheena Etranzi is a jungle girl especially skilled in guerilla tactics. Brad Fang is part wolf-man, part cyborg, with a Gatling gun grafted onto his left arm. Browny is a robotic intelligence tool who packs a laser.
Each character has a standard machine gun, bombs and four possible weapons pick-ups, including Spread, which fires in five directions at once, Shower Crash, which rains down exploding shells, and Gemini Scatter, which returns like a boomerang. The available weapons depend on which character you are controlling.
The enemies are varied. Many of the levels have different gimmicks such as hover-bikes or helicopters. The bosses are huge, intimidating, and fun to play against. The graphics themselves are simply stunning. The use of parallax scrolling in some of the levels help convey a realistic view of cityscapes and motion. Everything seems to be beautifully drawn and animated.
Game lets you team up with a friend through more than 10 levels, some of which are hidden. The game has a certain degree of nonlinear play in that there are a number of different pathways to take, storylines to follow, and game endings to achieve. Youll run, jump, slide, climb (on walls and ceilings) and shoot your way through cities, jungles, alien space and other exotic locations. Youll even battle aliens while riding a motorcycle and while perched atop a flying spacecraft.
Game plays fast and furiously and is just as beautiful as any other Genesis game ever created. The game is simply amazing. It just goes to show what talented artists and programmers can do when they put forth the effort.
