ODF Add-in for Excel is a useful piece of software designed to enable opening and saving OpenDocument format (ODF) files in Microsoft Excel.
The converter is based on XSL transformations between two XML formats, along with some pre- and post-processing to manage the packaging (zip / unzip), schema incompatibility processings and the integration into Microsoft Word.
We chose to use an Open Source development model that will allow developers from all around the globe to participate and contribute to this project.
System requirements:
- Microsoft Office 2007 with .NET Programmability Support activated comprising of Word 2007 / Excel 2007 / PowerPoint 2007 as applicable (depending on the converter(s) you are planning to install)
- .NET Framework 2.0 SP1

Enhancements:
- * Digitally signed addins which can now be used even when the security settings are set to high;
- A new ?Options? menu command which allows to suppress/re-activate the Fidelity Message dialog box;
- The overall performance has considerably be improved;
- Mono compatibility;
- The installation has been simplified by auto-detecting the installed Office version and
- Supporting ODF 1.1 documents and documents created using OpenOffice.org 2.4.

Along with the Add-in for Microsoft Word, we also provide a command line translator that allows doing batch conversions. This translator could also be run on the server side for certain scenarios.

The Sun ODF Plug in for Microsoft Office was designed to give users of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint the ability to read, edit and save to the ISO-standard Open Document Format. The ODF Plug in is available as a free download from the Sun Download Center (SDLC). Download the ODF Plug in.
The Plug in is easy to setup and use, the conversion happens transparently and the additional memory footprint is minimal. Microsoft Office users now can have seamless two-way conversion of Microsoft Office documents to and from Open Document. The ODF Plug in runs on Microsoft Windows and is available in English. More language support will be available in later releases.

Enhancements:
- The new release of the ODF Plugin has improved in many areas, the most important being the availability of more languages. The ODF Plugin now supports 16 different languages.
- The accuracy of document import and export has also been improved in this release.

Woodrat Reader is a fast and lightweight viewer for reading Open Document Format (ODF) text files.
This tool will not display images or tables as they not yet implemented.

JDBReport will help you easily create and print reports. The application runs on any platform, because it is written in Java.
Reports can be exported to HTML, Open Document Format (Text Document, SpreadSheet), Excel XML The program can import reports templates format ODF SpreadSheet.
The JDBReport Generator is used for generation and viewing reports. It can work as a standalone application or be embedded into Java application by API interface.
