This program allow users to hide a file in one or many host files. more>> This program allow users to hide a file in one or many host files, so it can not be easily seen by other persons. For example, you can hide a text document (original file) with some private information inside a five different image files (host files), so another user will just see the images files, not suspecting there is something hidden inside them.
It basically works by attaching the original file to the end of the host file. If more than one host file is used, the original file is splitted into the same number of host files. This have the advantage that each host file size might not increase substantially, so it can not raise any suspicious. If a password is provided, the hidden file is encrypted with a basic scheme so more security will be added to the file.
Features:
- You can hide any document into another file of your choice (1)
- You can specify a password to scramble file with a basic encryption scheme, adding an additional level of security.
- User can select up to 120 host files, so original file will be divided in those number of parts to provide another level of security.
- Original file can be deleted after hide it (encoding).
- Host file(s) can be deleted after retrieving original file (decoding).
