Spell It Out Loud 1 offers you a useful and efficient program that will teach you how to read English letters. You will also be able to write down what somebody is spelling out for you. The recordings have been made by native speakers of English.

Speak Clipboard is a small and smart voice reader for Windows XP. The program can read out loud the content of your texts in English.
Speak Clipboard is great for checking your spelling or grammar, listening to your e-mails or article. It can read any text that you can copy to your clipboard. This kind of software is also know as text reader, screen reader, or text to speech. We prefer to use the term voice reader.
When you start application, it will check if the clipboard contains text and start speaking, highlighting every pronounced word. You have the option to pause and resume the speech.

BumpUp is an application that will quadruple the size of a wave file, making it sound 4 times slower than it was. The resulting music is two octaves lower than before.
This allows you to hear the super high frequency content in your music and work with it. You can locate and eliminate persistant ultrasonic ringing and other artifacts that result from sample rate conversions (like from 48k to 44.1k), to prevent your music from sounding "mushy" on FM radios.
Other unwanted artifacts can result from some older synthesizers and some "loud" computer systems.
When you are done filtering the wave file, you can then run BumpDown to return your masterpiece to its original speed. DeSnap eliminates unwanted super loud high frequency clicks (snaps) that so often plague digital music, without sacrificing any brilliance. This is not a filter. It scans wave files for snap events and fixes them.

Secret Word Extension is a free Firefox extension that checks for the presence of a secret word on the page you are viewing. If it finds it, your computer will "scream real loud".
When you start your browser, it checks a website for todays secret word and sets it as a cookie in the browser. When you come to a page that contains the secret word, the browser window makes some noise, shakes, displays some graphics (that eventually disappear on their own), and a page is opened. You can check the current secret word by looking at the Tools menu and turn off all of the display of the secret word from the options menu.
