PGP is required by some of the software listed on our Encyption Tools page. You must first fill out a form and agree to certain terms before downloading PGP.

A freeware plugin for the 32 bit version of Pegasus Mail for Windows.It provides seamless integration of PGP within PegasusMail. It supports encryption/decryption of messages, the generation/verification of digital signatures and the addition of public keys to the keyring.Requires PGP.

PGP-ICQ 0.95 is a free encryption plug-in for ICQ allowing users to encrypt/decrypt their ICQ messages using PGP keys. It works with Windows and does not require the user to have the PGP software installed. This program also features a built-in tool to manage PGP keys.

Note: If you are using PGP-ICQ with ICQ 2000, you must switch to the single message mode.

The SkypePGP is a free and powerful tool that is able to encrypt a Skype chat between two users using their own keys defined within the PGP software.
Why, if we all know, that Skypes messages are encrypted (and obfuscated) anyway. Well, there are two answers to this question (or even maybe three). One is that keeping privacy is never enough.
Version restrictions:
- Sometimes the SkypePGP cannot connect to the Skype and is showing "Connection Timeout" message box. It looks like a problem inside the skype4com.dll and hopefully will be fixed in next release of this COM.
- SkypePGP supports currently only one-to-one chats. That is, conference chats are not supported.
- There is no way to get rid of the fancy encrypted ascii text in the Skypes chat dialog window.

GPGrelay is a little relaying server which interferes SMTP- and POP3-Communication that way, that transmission of emails will be signed and/or encrypted on the fly using GnuPG (The GNU Privacy Guard) with your default email-program.
GPGrelay application will enable many email-clients to send and receive emails that are conform to PGP-MIME (RFC 2015, RFC 3156). But it can also handle simple emails containing normal PGP-Blocks (sometimes referred to as inlined PGP).
GPGrelay is, as indicated by its name a local relaying server. It works completely transparent for your Email-Client as well as for the remote Server.
Now, if you want to send emails encrypted, GPGrelay encrypts them and sends the encrypted mail to the SMTP-Server. If you receive an encrypted mail, GPGrelay does the decryption for you - so your Email-Client never sees any encrypted mails, which is quite a nice feature when your Email-Client (like Outlook Express) is not capable of handling those mails.
But this also means, if an eavesdropper has access to your local environment, where Emails are stored decrypted, he can easily get access to them!
But on the other hand: If an eavesdropper really is present in your local Site, he could probably setup some mechanism (Trojan Horses come to mind) to get your Keyring and the Passphrase you use...
