Phase is an application that allows the user to send text to any Windows application with a few key strokes. The user can create scripts or simple text inserts as needed, enabling the creation of a fully customized "dictionary" of text/scripts that can be evoked in virtually any application running under Windows!

Phase supports a very simple scripting language of sorts that allows the user to create some powerful macros. Some very simple scripts can give the user access to special characters, windows manipulation functions, make windows transparent, make windows be always on top, date/time functions, sounds, input windows, simple form generation, run programs, evaluate math, create simple menus, and some other very useful functionality.

Phase will give any user a single place where they can assign macros or simple text replacements, and yet be able to use these macros in virtually any windows application. Phase has great potential for use in many home and office environments, and will not only eliminate some repetitious typing, but can also make using your PC a more efficient, and enjoyable experience.

UWP is a unwrapping phase algorithms tester and viewer. It includes some basic and custom implementations of Dennis C. Ghiglia unwrapping algorithms.

UWP performs tests of those algorithms and is able to compare the results within the application itself or using spreadsheet aplications such as Gnumeric or OpenOffice Calc.

UWP is being developed as a degree project by Tomás Aguado Gómez, member of the GSyC group of investigation in the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.

UWP has been developed using cmake, the VTK libraries, and the Qt3.3 SDK.

The Moon Phase widget displays the current lunar phase as visible from the Earth. North is at the top.

Moon Phase II widget also displays two pages of information about the Moon, its current position, phase, age, distance etc.

Though the phase displayed is accurate, as is the angle of the cusps, and the Moons axis, the Widget does not show librations of the disk.

The Widget can be configured for English, Français, Deutsch, and Español languages.

Random Phase Music Generator is a small program that generates random phase music. Random music has been around for a long time (from Mozarts musical dice game to John Cages chance music), but phase music was invented rather recently by Steve Reich.

It would be interesting to combine those ideas, so I have written this program as a tool for further experiments. Type xmkmf and then make to compile the program. LessTif users, replace xmkmf with mxmkmf.

If your xmkmf is broken, you have to install manually. Edit Makefile.man (examples for Solaris, AIX and LessTif are provided). Make sure INCS and LIBS are linking to the correct directories, then type make -f Makefile.man to compile.

Run phase from an X terminal. Some users might need to point LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the Motif libraries. After starting up the program, you can use the File menu to load or save the panel settings, and the Music menu to play the generated phase music or save it to a MIDI file.

With the PHASE 88, TerraTec Producer presents a professional audio and MIDI interface that transforms every PC or MAC into a professional recording system. Eight high-quality analog input and output converters process audio signals (from start to finish and from hardware to software) with resolutions up to 24 bits and 96 kHz. The PHASE 88s converters are housed in a 5 1/4" module that can be installed within and placed outside the computer.

Based o­n proven TerraTec technology, PHASE 88 features optimized conversion components and cleverly designed circuits, enabling recordists to cut crystal-clear recordings o­n up to eight tracks simultaneously and even play back high-resolution 5.1 or 7.1 Surround sound. Up to four PHASE 88 recording systems can be synchronized and cascaded within a single computer. This means that systems with up to 40 physical inputs and outputs and 64 MIDI channels can be configured without adding to the CPU load.
