Phoner allows you to use your data modem as a voice phone. It includes a built-in address book.

Phoner description
Establishes for outgoing calls a (chargeable) connection over your normal phone line. Phoner is a SoftPhone application that enables you to make phone calls using just an ISDN and sound card.

The connection to analogue (POTS) and digital receivers (ISDN) is built up by using CAPI. This driver interface comes with your ISDN equipment.

gnome-vfs is a Filesystem Abstraction library. It provides an abstraction layer for the reading, writing and execution of files. It is primarily used by the Nautilus file manager and other GNOME applications.
