Play DVD in a DVD player with many interesting features. Play DVD can play in fullscreen mode, can change the angle etc.

We have added some new features and made Play DVD easier to use.

We still have lot to do though, like Fast Forward and Rewind is not added in this version because the code we coded had lot of bugs.

We will try to add more features in next version. Next version is not expected to come before couple of months or more.

Play DVD is able to play different Audio/Video formats like mp3, mp2, wmp, avi, mov, wav, midi etc and VOB files as well.

Obviously the main aim of this DVD player is to play DVD disc and it does that as well.

You can also choose DVD directory from your Hard Disk or choose another DVD drive other than primary drive. A new Progress Bar has been added and it works very well.

Play DVD also lets you to change the Main Interface skin. Tutorials on how to make your own skin is also provided. Help file is provided with the software.

Play Sound provides a simple, no-fuss way to play sound files in classic Mac OS and Mac OS X. It supports QuickTime sound files (for example, AIFF or MP3 files), Mac OS System 7 sound files (files with a file type of sfil that contain snd resources), or any snd resources embedded into any file.

You can play an unlimited number sounds concurrently or one at a time. You can loop sounds, repeat sounds, control the volume of sounds played, and press the Escape or Command-Period keys to abort sound play.

To use Play Sound as a simple sound file player, simply drag and drop the sound file(s) onto the Play Sound icon in the Mac OS Finder. Audio::Play::MPG321 is a frontend to MPG321.

This is a frontend to the MPG321 MP3 player. It talks to it in remote mode and provides constant feedback about the time elapsed so far, the time remaining, and the state of the player.

If you use Audio::Play::MPG321 directly, then you will have to do some extra work outside of the module, as demonstrated in the synopsis. If you want to build a basic queue (Play one song, then play another), then you must keep calling poll() to make sure Audio::Play::MPG321 knows how MPG321 is doing and testing state() to be 0.

Audio::Play is an interface for Audio::Data to hardware.

Audio::Play is an wrapper class which loads Audio::Play::$^O i.e. a per-platform driver.

Each class provides the following interface:

Create the server and return an object. $wait is supposed to determine whether to wait for device (and for how long) but is currently not really working for many devices.

$svr->rate($rate)

Set sample rate (if possible) to $rate.

$rate = $svr->rate;

Return sample rate.

$svr->play($audio[,$gain])

Play $audio via the hardware. Should take steps to match hardware and datas sampling rate.

$svr->gain($mult)

Set gain (if possible).

$svr->flush

Wait for playing to complete.

$svr->DESTROY

Destructor flushes and closes hardware.
