I use this program to remind me about bills. Ive got it set up so my phone bill repeats every 2 months and gives me 7 days of warnings before it falls due. Same with utility bills, car registration, insurance, etc, etc. Once its set up properly itll give you a splash screen listing all upcoming events whenever you reboot your computer, followed by a splash screen for items due NOW.
As an added bonus, this program will also run in a networked environment. You can allocate a username to each machine and point each one to a central shared database. Anyone can then enter SHARED events (e.g. Family outings, company meetings) which will show up on everyone elses screen. Private reminders will only show on the PC which they were entered on. I know you can do some of this stuff on Outlook, but my program isnt a resource hog.<<less

In the bottom of my window there is some information about the average sentence word that you have typed in. There is also a check box in the middle where you can select to save the new words in the dictionary or not. If you tick the box, I will continue learning while speaking with you, if not I will just reply to you.
You can also select the saved file extension, so that different dictionaries are saved separately. You can have dictionaries with different languages or dictionaries and grammar in the style of particular authors. For example if you type in text from a Tolkien book and save it with the tol extension, I will reply in a Tolkienesque way when you speak with me. The C/C++ library is supported for Gnu C Compiler (GCC) on all platforms, in addition to Microsoft Visual C++ for Windows platforms. This free version includes the most commonly used adaptive filters.
The package includes many popular transversal and linear combiner adaptive filters such as RLS, NLMS, and BFDAF, lattice adaptive filters such as LMS-LATTICE and RLS-LATTICE, and active noise and vibration control filters such as FILTERED-X-LMS and ADJOINT-LMS.
In addition to serving as a demo version for the corresponding commercial libraries, We believe that FREE-ASPT is an excellent tool for learning the basic concepts of adaptive systems in a real-time development environment at no cost.
Although the filters in this free package are limited in their number of coefficients (maximum of 32 coef. for FIR filters and 10 coef. for lattice and IIR filters), the package proved to be sufficient for its purpose.
