VMC to Hyper-V Import Tool (VMC2HV) allows you to import a virtual machine configuration from Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 (or Virtual PC 2007 SP1) to Hyper-V.
More specifically it allows you to import the following settings:

- Memory
- Network adapters with MAC address
- Processors including resource allocation settings

Because a Hyper-V VM is different from a Virtual Server VM, it ignores all other hardware settings from the VMC file.

Sun PDF Import Extension is a useful add-in for OpenOffice.org that enables you to modify PDF files when the original source is not available anymore. PDF documents are imported in Draw and Impress to preserve the layout and to allow basic editing. It is the perfect solution for changing dates, numbers or small portions of text. Native PDF forms are not yet imported.
The next development step will focuses more on the edit capabilities and less on layout by using the Writer.
The PDF Import extension will also enable the PDF export into a hybrid PDF file, which is a PDF with the embedded source file as ODF. Hybrid PDF files will be opened in StarOffice as an ODF file without any layout differences, while users without StarOffice can open the PDF part of the hybrid file.
